Frequently asked questions
Can I use AI anime dubbing on anime I made myself?
Yes — your own animation, fan projects you have permission for, game cutscenes and VTuber clips. Upload the video and each character keeps a voice of their own.
Can each character have a different voice?
Yes. Speakers are told apart for you and each one keeps their own voice in the new language. The script shows who says every line, and you can fix it where two characters were mixed up.
Can I dub Japanese anime into English?
Yes, Japanese to English is the most asked-for pair. Read every line in the script first: anime dialogue is full of names and honorifics you may want to keep as they are.
Does it keep the music and sound effects?
Yes. Only the voices are replaced; the soundtrack and effects stay. Scenes where characters shout over loud music are the hardest to separate cleanly.
Can I get English subtitles only for an anime episode?
Yes. Pick Subtitles in the tool: you get English SRT and VTT files and the original voice stays untouched. Subtitles use 0.2 credits a minute, a fifth of a dub.
Can I dub someone else’s anime?
Yes. Translate videos you own or have the rights to, and only clone the voices of people who agreed to it. Videos that impersonate someone or use a voice without consent break our content policy and are removed.
How much does anime dubbing cost?
Preview the first 60 seconds of any video free. After that, a dub uses 1.5 credits a minute (subtitles 0.2, lip sync 5). The Starter pack is $9.90 for 15 credits and never expires; the Creator plan is $19.90 a month for 40 credits. 26 languages, such as Bengali, Urdu, Swahili and Welsh, are voiced in two steps, so a dub or lip sync into one of them adds 0.5 credit a minute (a minute at least). The language list marks them.
Does lip sync work on animation?
Lip sync is made for real faces. On drawn characters, a voice-only dub usually looks better — try the free preview first.
