The rules for translating, dubbing and voicing videos with us, including credits, plans, voice cloning, who owns the results and what we're responsible for
In short
- You keep the rights to the videos and audio you upload and to the results you make.
- Only translate videos you have the rights to, and only clone voices of people who agreed to it.
- Credits pay for translations and voices. Failed jobs give their credits back automatically.
- Plans renew until you cancel. Refunds follow our refund policy.
- AI translations and voices can be wrong. Check the script before you voice it and the result before you publish it.
1. Using the service
We transcribe, translate, dub, lip-sync and subtitle videos, and offer text to speech, voice cloning and a voice changer. You need to be at least 16 to use the service. When you create an account, give a real email address and keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
These terms, the content policy, the privacy policy and the refund policy together are our agreement with you. By using the service you accept them.
2. Your content
You keep all rights to the videos, audio and text you upload, and to the transcripts, translations, dubs, subtitles and voices you make from them. You give us permission to store them, send them to the AI providers that do the work, and show them back to you. That permission ends when the files are deleted, by you or when their storage time ends.
We don't use your videos or voices to train AI models.
You must have the right to translate every video you upload. Read the content policy for what that means.
3. Voices and consent
A dub speaks in the voice of each person in the video, learned from the video itself. The voice cloning tool learns a voice from a sample you upload. In both cases:
- You confirm that the voice is yours, or that the person agreed to have their voice copied for this use.
- You won't use a cloned voice to make people believe someone said something they didn't, to impersonate anyone, or to get past voice checks such as banking or phone verification.
- A person whose voice was used without their consent can ask us to remove it, and we will.
Cloned voices are kept in your account until you delete them, or until you delete your account. Deleting a voice removes its sample and preview from our storage and from the voice provider.
4. Credits
Translations, dubs, lip sync and voice tools cost credits. The cost of a job is shown before you start it and on the pricing page.
- A verified new account gets 3 free credits. They expire 30 days after they are granted, and only one free grant is given per person.
- Free previews have daily limits. We may withhold free credits or previews claimed through multiple or automated accounts.
- If a job fails, or you cancel it before it finishes, its credits go back to your balance automatically.
- Pack credits never expire. Plan credits expire when the next month's credits arrive.
- Credits have no cash value and can't be moved to another account.
5. Plans and payments
Stripe processes all payments; your card details never reach us. Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow the refund policy.
We may change prices. A new price applies to a plan from the first renewal after we email you about it.
6. Acceptable use
Follow the content policy. In particular, don't use the service for deception, fraud, impersonation, harassment, sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal. Don't try to get around credit or preview limits, overload the service or reach parts of it you aren't allowed to. We may block a job, remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
7. AI results
Machine translation and AI voices make mistakes: a wrong word, a changed meaning, a mispronounced name, a voice that doesn't quite sound like the speaker, lips slightly out of sync. You see every line of the script before it is voiced, and you are responsible for checking what the result says before you publish or rely on it.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". The AI models we use can be slow, change or be retired by their makers; when one is replaced, we move your jobs to the closest one we offer. Uploads and results are deleted when their storage time ends, so keep your own copy of anything you need.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for how you use the results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from account settings. Your projects, files, cloned voices and unused credits are deleted with it, and an active plan is cancelled. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the content policy. If we close an account for any other reason, we refund its unused paid credits.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect. Questions? Contact us.
